Why is it called the Pink Moon?

"Pink Moon" is the traditional North American name for the April full moon, after the pink wild phlox that blooms in early spring. The Moon itself won't look pink. Other names include the Egg Moon, the Sprouting Grass Moon and the Fish Moon.
